Greenhills Seminar Programme
Sat 9, Sun 10, Mon 11 August, hosted by Peter Kentley |
Background to Seminar Electives Prayer Strategy
We are in awe of and thank God that He has sovereignly gathered together Christian leaders from around this nation to stand in His Authority, to facilitate prayer into diverse areas of life in our culture in the marketplace. He has gathered those ‘Eagles’ with a passion to see Christ’s Kingdom Come and Christ’s will be done on earth as it is in heaven, here in Australia.
Some young people have asked me the question: ‘Could this be God’s 20/20 vision perspective?’ God alone knows! May He receive all the Praise, Honour and Glory.
Leaders gave short introductory talks in a panel, before facilitating their seminar. Then, together with prayer facilitators, who supported each leader, people were invited to gather to attend the different seminar electives according to their interest. The leader gave guidance and recognition of God’s divine purpose and plan for their area, drawing from the word of God, and with group participation, there was heart felt confession of how we have diverted away from God’s ways and plans.
Then the focus was on praising and thanking God for His divine intervention in the area, praying for Him to bring His transformation, through His amazing grace and the Victory He won for us through the incarnation, life, death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ. Standing together in agreement, united by our faith in Christ, seeking the leading of the Holy Spirit we prayed to call forth God’s redemptive purposes – His calling, plan and blue print from heaven – to be out worked on earth in Australia, for His glory in each of the seminar areas.
It was proposed that each seminar group joined together and prayed corporately in Faith in Christ, standing on the Promises of the Word of God in Scripture, praying and decreeing for the Lord’s will to be done and His Kingdom to Come in His perfect way and time in our nation, for a release of His love, salvation, righteousness, truth, and justice to prevail.
Our aim was that these would be powerful nation changing prayers that grow legs that advance the Kingdom of God and release people into action, commissioned for the Lord’s work. The focus was not to be so much on the problems, as on magnifying who God is and proclaiming what God’s plan of redemption and restoration is. |
